First Rollover

Breken is 10 weeks old today and to mark the milestone in his own way, he rolled from his tummy to his back all by himself! Of course I cheered for him and he was utterly thrilled with himself! I wished I had the video camera on, but it happened in the blink of an eye.

As most of you know, for the first 6 ½ - 7 weeks of his life, Sir Breken was fondly referred to as “Pickle-Pickle-Pooh-Pooh” because he was so colicky and cried 5-6 hours out of most of his days. I was screaming inside as well, and dying to return to work for some mental nourishment, so I insisted to my doctor that I return soon. Now with my return just over a week away, I’m wishing I had more time to be with my adorable son and share these monumental milestones in his life. This inspires me to make the most out of the time I have left with him, and I’ll treasure our evenings and weekends together in the future.
