Baby's Room

Baby Smith’s room is coming along! A few weeks ago my wonderful friend Judy painted the giraffes for us, and I just love them!!! I think we're going to put Baby Smith’s name above his crib when he arrives. Kevin's planning to machine something, but we'll see. He may be more interested in spending time with the baby than machining. ;) The crib is slightly away from the wall, so anything hanging won't fall on the baby in the event of an earthquake or something similar. We’ll have to give additional thought towards the height/position of his name on the wall, as it won't be long before he'll be standing and potentially able to yank it right off. Yikes!

The oversized chair fits perfectly in our room but stands out like a soar thumb in Jr's little room, but it will be comfy for nursing.

The wall opposite the giraffes is still a little naked, but I think we'll hang some family photos up there when we have them.
